REVISE HELP & TABLE WIDTH, WITH MENU-DRIVEN SUBJECT PAGES
  • Top Drop-Down Menu: Links will preload various type page sets into the main inner window in pages sets that include up to ten pages (with tabbed menu switching).
    • Inner Window Page-Sets: Contain tabbed and untabbed pages. A page may display a web site for a country, along with links to the contact information (or vice versa), and links to other information related to the page content if available.

  • Inner Window Tabbed Menus: Tabbed Links will switch between pages in currently loaded page set. (Note: Each of the tabbed pages are also page sets containing 1 or more pages, accessed by Inner Window Top Text Links.)

  • Inner Window Top Text Links: Inner Window Top Text Links switch Inner Window pages of secondary page sets.
Example: The page set containing the first ten countries of Europe is loaded as a 10-tab page set. The tab and Inner Window for Bosnia-Herzegovina is displayed, defaulting to their web page view. Along the top of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Inner Window are Inner Window Top Text Links for 1)"Bosnia-Herzegovina Contact Page," 2)"Site" (returns to web site view), and 3)"Site in Another Window." These links are access to pages of a secondary page set, which will load into Bosnia-Herzegovina's Inner Window, while leaving the 10-tab page set in place and available.

  • General Navigation Links Comments:
    • Included in some groups of Inner Window Top Text Links, are links which may open a file (such as PDF), or another web site (for a country or other), and which open these in another separate window. If you notice a document or web page opening, which is not inside this web site's page set configuration, you have encountered one of these links. When you are finished with the document or site, you may simply close that window, returning you to this web site in the original window. Or, you may wish to open one or more of these when encountering the link for them, and simply leave them up for checking later, and click back into the original window to continue moving from window to window there. This allows you to hang onto an external page you found without stopping what you're doing. Of course, if the page is in this site's page set configuration, you can easily navigate back to it.
    • External web sites opened in their own separate pages may be bookmarked to return to them later as well.
    • Bookmarking (saving to Favorites) within this web site will always bookmark to the home page configuration, and not to the specific page you are on. This is because the pages are displayed in frames, and bookmarking saves information about what web page you are on, not about what frame-contained inner page you are viewing on that page. Hopefully, the ease of navigation will make that not to be a problem for people.
    • You cannot bookmark a page from another web site while it is displayed inside an inner window in this site. Many such sites displayed here have an Inner Window Top Text Link (or other link) allowing them to open in a separate window, after which you can bookmark that site.

  • Hover Scrollers: Two black arrows appear at the bottom right of the screen. These may be hovered over to auto-scroll the screen up and down the page. While using the navigation tools at the top of the page, these have no value. However, when you open Help, these allow you to easily move up and down the page without constantly cicking. Other pages of this type may be used as well.

  • Music Controls: There are 92 midi-file tunes available on the web site, defaulting to "OFF" on arrival. The tunes may be accessed randomly or by direct selection, or may be turned off again.
    • Random Play Mode: The "RANDOM MUSIC" link causes a random tune to be loaded into the small square indicator (a tiny iframe) and begin play. In addition to randomly selecting a tune, random mode will:
      • Reselect a new tune when one finishes, and will continue playing without need for further selections.
      • The small square square indicator will change from either white or red to "black and white" (indicating the music system is active, even if not playing).
      • Clicking on the small square indicator will show the name of the tune (or midi-file filename).
    • Direct Select Mode: The "DIRECT SELECT" link causes the "direct selection mode" to load into the small square indicator. Music will not automaticaly start. Once "direct selection mode" is selected:
      • The small square square indicator will change from either white or red to "black and white" (indicating the music system is active, even if not playing).
      • Clicking on the small square indicator will display a full drop-down list of the available tunes (or midi-file filenames). You may scroll up and down the list, and clicking on any tune name will load and start that tune. Unlike random mode, when the tune completes, play will stop.
    • Small Square Indicator: The indicator shows if the system is active. When clicked while the system is active in either random or direct select mode, it shows what tune is playing...and when showing the tune in direct select mode, it also offers the drop-down menu.
    • Click Anytime: The Music Controls' links can be clicked at any time to start or stop tunes, show what is playing, or change modes.
    • Uninterrupted Play: Tunes selected will continue to play as you navigate within the web site. They will also continue to play if you switch to another separate browser window (leaving this site's page open and not minimized). If you minimize this site's main page, the music may stop eventually until the page is restored to regular viewing, whereupon the music will resume.

  • Accessing Help: This help screen is available from the Top Drop-Down Menu on the Resources drop-down. It is also available via a text link toward the bottom of the page, by the Music Controls.
    • Both methods access Help regardless of what pages are displayed, and pages displayed will remain displayed while accessing Help. (This Help information is located toward the bottom of the main page at all times.)
    • You may scroll to the bottom of the main page and not see Help displayed there. Click the Site Help link and it will open in place.
    • You may click the Help link in the Resources drop-down list and it may seem nothing happened. This means Help is already opened in its page area toward the bottom of the main page. Scroll down and you will see it displayed there.
    • There are links in the Help information area for closing Help...if you close it when you leave, clicking the link in the Resources drop-down will move you to the bottom of the page as it reopens. Clicking the Close Help links closes Help and also returns you to the top of the main page.
